Today, I will talk about a configuration that is useful to know but a bit difficult to discover. If you want to prevent users from manually creating records in certain table types on the timeline, you need to follow these steps.
- Open the relevant form in PowerApps from the form designer.
- Select the timeline control
- In the right side, go to Properties > Record settings > Activity types, and for each activity type you want to block, uncheck the “Create directly from timeline” option.
Users will not be able to register for the types of activities you have closed on the Timeline 🙂
